BEAUMONT — A Lumberton man has been sentenced to federal prison for child exploitation in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs.

Adam Dale Isaacks, 40, pleaded guilty Monday to four counts of transporting a minor for sexual activity and was sentenced to 480 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone .

According to information presented in court, on December 13, 2021, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in Evadale in reference to a report of multiple sexual assaults.

As the investigation progressed, Isaacks was identified as the attacker. Isaacks, a youth baseball coach and president of the Evadale Little League Baseball organization and a trusted member of the community, allegedly sexually assaulted eight minor members of his baseball team.

The boys were aged 9 to 11 at the time of the incident. The investigation revealed instances where several minor victims were transported by Isaacks from the Eastern District of Texas, out of state.

While outside the state of Texas, Isaacks engaged in illicit sexual relations with the minor victims. The trips were verified using airline records, credit card information, photos and witnesses.

“We expect our little league coaches to protect the children in their care; this defendant did not do so and will now serve a lengthy sentence,” Diggs said.

“Coaches like the accused, Mr. Isaacks, who have sex with minors should take note of today's sentence, which reflects the consequences of abusing his position of trust by taking advantage of the vulnerabilities of minors and repeatedly engaging them in illegal sexual activities. This case shows how local and federal agencies can work together to combat the growing epidemic of child exploitation, a crime that our office will aggressively pursue.

This case was investigated by the FBI, Sabine County Sheriff's Office, Jasper County Sheriff's Office, and San Augustine County Sheriff's Office.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Rachel Grove.
