A young father has been identified as the only victim of the tragic truck rollover.

James Kelly, 27, was driving the truck loaded with turf when it crashed on the Gold Coast, at the intersection of Elevation Drive and Tamborine Oxenford Road, about 6.45am on Tuesday.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and pronounced Mr Kelly dead at the scene.

He is survived by his son Roman and his partner Shianne Vaughan, who said it “broke my heart” to announce his death on social media.

A GoFundMe page set up by Turf Queensland's Natalie Scalisi on Wednesday said the young family was “facing unimaginable heartbreak and hardship”.

Ms. Scalisi wrote that Mr. Kelly was a “young contract driver, a devoted partner and a loving father.”

“In times like these, it is crucial for us to come together as a community and support each other,” she wrote.

The fundraiser has already raised over $3,000 in less than a day

The money will be paid to Ms Vaughan to cover funeral costs and living expenses.

Investigations into the accident are ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage has been asked to contact police.
