WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT/Fugitive from Justice Located – Video News Service

On May 18, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputy
The office arrested Russian J. Habeeb, 26, of Buffalo, New York, on a court warrant.

The warrant was from Dawson County, Georgia for shoplifting charges. Habeeb was arraigned in Warsaw City Court before the Honorable Judge Fusani and the Wyoming County Public Defender's Office was present to represent Habeeb.

Following his indictment, Habeeb was incarcerated in the Wyoming County Jail pending extradition from Dawson County, Georgia.

The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office arrested Christopher A. Baker, 36, of Fillmore, NY, following a traffic
stop on Route 78 in the Town of Sheldon on May 23, 2024 at 5:07 a.m.

Officers on patrol observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit of 55 mph. A traffic stop was conducted and an investigation revealed that Baker's license was currently revoked in New York State.

Baker was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and issued citations for Speeding and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. He will answer the charges on June 17, 2024, at
Town of Sheldon Court.

On May 22, 2024, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputy
The office arrested Douglas P. Seymour, 66, of Cuba, New York, on a warrant.

The arrest warrant issued by State Police Machias for criminal mischief charges. Seymour was turned over to State Police for processing and arraignment.

Melvin C. Franklin, 56, of Delevan, New York, was arrested by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office after
contact was made during a complaint in their jurisdiction.

Franklin was found to have a Superior Court warrant for his arrest in Wyoming County. The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office took custody of Franklin and he was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail pending his next possible appearance in Wyoming County Court.

Ashley A. Demun, 38, and Charles Pendziwiatr, 42, both of Geneseo, New York, were both arrested on May 21, 2024, by the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office following a complaint from two people passed out in a
motor vehicle at a local business on Rt. 19 in the city of Warsaw.

Officers located both subjects inside the car with suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Upon waking Demun, she attempted to hide the drug paraphernalia from the deputy's view.
Both were questioned and Demun was found to be the driver of the vehicle and the next in line.

Pendziwiatr was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Criminal Use
2nd degree drug paraphernalia. He received a summons to appear in court which can be reported to the court at
a later date.

Demun was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (7th Degree) and Criminal Use of Drugs.

of the Warsaw court for the purposes of revocation of license due to refusal of a blood test. She had it
