How to get the 5 Star Weapon Supply Chest

To begin, let's talk about how players can obtain the 5-star Weapon Supply Chest. When starting the game for the first time, players will start the Awakening Journey event, which offers rewards at certain Union level thresholds.

To obtain the 5-Star Weapon Supply Chest, players must reach union level 45 in Howling Waves. Players who have been playing since day one should already be approaching said level, or already have reached said union level (if they have regularly restocked their Waveplate).

Reaching Union level 45 will grant players said Supply Chest, as well as 1000 Astrites.

5 Star Weapon Choices

Upon opening the box, players will be presented with the following options (all weapon stat values ​​are at L90 S1):

Shiny razor (wide blade)

• Main stat: ATK: 587
• Substat: ATK 36.4%
• Increases energy regeneration by 12.8%. When the Resonance skill is released, Resonance Release DMG is increased by 7%, stacking up to 3 times. This effect lasts 12 seconds.

The Lustrous Razor is a powerful broad blade, potentially increasing the equipped character's Resonance Release DMG by up to 21% at S1. This is especially true for characters with a fast cooldown for Resonance skills.

This Broadblade is a good weapon for Jiyan and Calcharo.

Genesis Emerald (Sword)

• Main stat: ATK: 587
• Sub-statistic: CRIT rate 24.3%
• Increases energy regeneration by 12.8%. When the Resonance skill is released, increases ATK by 6%, stacking up to 2 times. This effect lasts 10 seconds.

The Genesis Emerald provides his equipped character with up to 12% additional ATK, especially if he can spam his Resonance skill to get maximum stacks. Additionally, it offers up to 24.3% CRIT rate, allowing players to use CRIT DMG echoes.

This sword is suitable for Sanhua, Danjin, Rover (Spectro and Havoc) and Yangyang.

Static mist (guns)

• Substat: CRIT rate 24.3%
• Increases energy regeneration by 12.8%. When the Outro skill is released, increases the ATK of the activated resonator by 10%, stacking up to 1 time. This effect lasts 14 seconds.

Static Mist is more of a support/sub-DPS option, as it boosts the ATK of the Resonator the equipped character is switching to. It also gives the equipped character a CRIT rate, allowing them to use CRIT DMG on their Echo.

This gun is ideal for Aalto, Mortefi and Chixia.

Abyssal Surges (Gauntlets)

• Main stat: ATK: 587
• Substat: ATK 36.4%
• Increases energy regeneration by 12.8%. When you hit a target with a resonance skill, increases the basic attack DMG bonus by 10%, for 8 seconds. When you hit a target with basic attacks, increases the bonus DMG of the Resonance skill by 10%, for 8 seconds.

The Abyss Surges is a Gauntlet that adapts to characters who constantly alternate between using their basic attack and their Resonance skill. Alternating between the two is the key to maximizing this challenge.

This Gauntlet is ideal for Jianxin and Lingyang.

Cosmic Ripples (Rectifier)

• Main stat: ATK: 500
• Substat: ATK 43%
• Increases energy regeneration by 12.8%. When you hit a target with basic attacks, increases basic attack DMG bonus by 3.2%, stacking up to 5 times. This effect lasts 8 sec and can be triggered once every 0.5 sec.

Cosmic Ripples are a good rectifier for players who primarily use their basic attack, providing up to 16% bonus basic attack DMG. The ATK bonus is also good for characters who rely on it.

This straightener is suitable for Encore, Yinlin and Verina.

Which 5-star weapon should you get?

Just based on the stats, the best option would be to get either the Genesis Emerald (Sword) or the Static mist (guns). This is due to the value provided by the CRIT Rate substatistic. By giving the equipped character a CRIT rate of up to 24.3%, it essentially serves as a CRIT rate echo at 4 max level costs.

This allows the player to equip other 4-cost Echoes on the Resonator, primarily a CRIT DMG Echo, although an ATK% Echo would also work (but is not recommended).
