How to get Jinhsi in Wuthering Waves

Jinhsi is a limited 5-star character, meaning she can only be acquired on her limited banner or rerun banners. If you miss her first appearance, your only option is to wait for her to return for a chance to catch up.

Jinhsi is a field DPS who deals most of her damage through her ability (which has four variants) and her Resonance Release. Jinhsi has a unique mechanic that allows her to upgrade to two higher “tiers” of her kit, each of which changes what her basic attacks and resonance abilities do. She is also, at the time of release, the only viable field DPS in Spectro, making her a must-have for people who specifically need that role; at least, until more options become available.

Although her kit is quite complicated based on her description, the way to play her is actually quite simple. You simply meet the requirements to level up each level, one at a time (both can each be triggered simply by using a full 4 base attack chain), using its skill each time it refreshes and using its resonance release whenever it is available. , or generally once every two turns.

Since Jinhsi's Resonant Release has a long cooldown, using it every other rotation makes its energy generation requirements very forgiving, allowing you to focus entirely on raw damage: primarily CRIT stats, ATK and Bonus DMG.

His teams require characters capable of using coordinated attacks. Coordinated attacks are attacks made by allies while they are off the field when the DPS on the field (Jinhsi) attacks. Yinlin, Mortefi and Verina are therefore excellent choices as teammates for her.

Jinhsi doesn't rely too heavily on using his Ultimate, but it's still recommended to have some amount of Energy Regeneration via sub-stats to mark hordes of enemies faster and easier.

Overall, if you choose Jinhsi, you will be satisfied, especially if you managed to choose Yinlin as one of the previous 5-star limited characters. Its biggest drawback is its investment, which requires luxurious 5-star weapons. However, your efforts will be rewarded with significant damage.
