WRPS charges two Kitchener residents in drug trafficking investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drug and Firearms Unit has arrested two people as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

On June 4, 2024, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the Forest Heights neighborhood of Kitchener.

As a result, police seized two vehicles, suspected cocaine, suspected oxycodone and Canadian money.

A 50-year-old Kitchener woman and a 54-year-old Kitchener man have been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service Drug and Firearms Unit is committed to ensuring the safety of all citizens through proactive initiatives.
