DAVISON TWP., MI — Drivers on I-69 eastbound will have to find a new route to M-15 in Davison Township through August as the Michigan Department of Transportation begins repairs and improvements in the area.

The Michigan Department of Transportation announced that the ramp closure is expected to begin Monday, July 8, with work expected to be completed in August.

The $481,000 project includes concrete widening, joint repairs, curbs and gutters, and traffic signal upgrades, MDOT said in a news release announcing the start of work.

A detour will take drivers to Elba Road, I-69 westbound and M-15 and vice versa.

MDOT said drivers should also expect intermittent single-lane closures on northbound and southbound M-15 near the ramp during construction.
