Woman who died in Hazelwood shooting identified, suspect in custody

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The woman killed last Thursday night in a shooting in the Hazelwood neighborhood has been identified and a suspect is currently in custody, according to Portland police.

Authorities say officers found Laquonda Fuller-Hudson, 31, dead from a gunshot wound in an apartment on Southeast 146th Avenue just after 10 p.m.

Authorities say the suspect in custody is currently being treated for injuries stemming from another incident that occurred after the shooting. This incident remains under investigation, according to authorities.
