SHREVEPORT, La. – The search for a killer is underway in Shreveport after a woman was stabbed to death Sunday evening at a Queensborough apartment complex.

The call came in to police shortly after 7 p.m. They arrived at Wellington Square, in the 1800 block of Jewella Avenue, where they found a woman in an apartment. She had been stabbed in the neck.

So far, no arrests have been made in this latest murder. This happened in the city's 71109 zip code and is the 28th homicide in Shreveport so far in 2024.

According to Caddo 911 dispatch, at least 9 units were on scene along with the Caddo Parish Coroner.
