Woman stabbed near NYC bodega by moped attackers: NYPD

QUEENS, NY (PIX11) – A woman is recovering at a Queens hospital after she was stabbed in the stomach by someone riding a moped Saturday evening, police said.

Officers from the 110th precinct received a call at 4:49 p.m. to help a woman who had been stabbed in front of 95-24 41.st Street. The 29-year-old victim had argued with a man and a woman outside a bodega before being hit with a motorcycle helmet and then stabbed, authorities said.


His accomplice is described as a man, last seen, wearing a black football jersey. The attacker was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, police said.

The attackers fled on a black moped in the direction of Junction Boulevard.

An investigation is still underway.
