Woman stabbed at Galleria mall following altercation with man

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A stabbing incident occurred at the Galleria on Wednesday, June 5th. An adult woman was stabbed by a suspect while on an escalator in the luxury shopping destination, according to reports.

She was stabbed in the arm after an altercation between the two. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to be OK. Officers on scene located the suspect near The Cheesecake Factory and were taken into custody.

He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
