Woman seriously injured after being stabbed multiple times in central Phoenix

PHOENIX — A woman is seriously injured after being stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning in central Phoenix.

Phoenix police said they were called to the area near 19th and Glendale avenues just before 1 a.m. for a stabbing.

When police arrived, they found a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect, identified at this point as a man, had left the area before police arrived.
