Woman missing after Jones County crash

JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – A woman has been reported missing after a crash in Jones County.

Investigators said they were looking for 32-year-old Samantha McCowan. They said she was involved in a crash around 1 a.m. Friday, June 7, on Victory Road near Highway 184. After striking a Mississippi utility pole with her vehicle, deputies said McGowan was observed leaving the scene on foot.

She was last seen near Highway 184 and Highway 84 East (on the Laurel side) in the early hours of Friday.

McGowan is 5'6″, weighs around 160 pounds and has light brown hair. Additionally, McGowan has a tattoo on his right leg from hip to knee, a dragon tattoo on his left hip and a tattoo on the back of his neck .

McGowan was last seen wearing a lime green shirt, black and white shorts and a hoodie of unknown color.
