Woman killed in shooting, 1 person in police custody

Tulsa police say a woman who was shot Sunday night has died.

Police say Aliza Crook, 19, was shot in the head near 21st Street and I-44 around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police said Crook died from her injuries around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said Rahmon Macon, 30, was arrested in connection with the shooting and faces federal charges of Indian Country murder.

Several agencies are investigating a shooting that injured a woman in her 20s on Sunday.

Police are on scene in the Marina Mall parking lot at 21st and I-44.

Officers confirmed the woman was shot and is still alive, but there are still many unanswered questions.

Sgt. Watkins of the Tulsa police said this was a shooting investigation, not a homicide, and that the victim was believed to have been shot at 11th and Garnett before being taken to the mall.

Police remained in the parking lot with the victim's vehicle for hours before leaving the scene around 9 p.m.

There is no word on suspects or what led to the shooting at this time.
