Woman identified killed while crossing highway in Tuscaloosa

Video above: Initial information before identity released A pedestrian has been identified after he was struck and killed on a Tuscaloosa highway Wednesday morning. Brianna Shaunta Nelson, 23, of Tuscaloosa, was struck around 4:30 a.m. by a box truck while crossing the southbound lanes near Exit 1 of Interstate 359, according to police. The driver of an SUV behind a box truck swerved into a second box truck, which then struck the woman. >> KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Interactive traffic map Tuscaloosa police said Nelson died on places.
