A Brampton man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman in the Vaughan Mills parking lot.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a shooting after mall security found the woman in the parking lot.

The victim, in critical condition, was rushed to a trauma center, where he was pronounced dead.

She was identified as Alisseaha Golar-Kotlar, 21, of Hamilton.

Two men, both from Brampton, were arrested following the incident.
