Woman hospitalized after North Highlands shooting

The shooting will take place this afternoon on Salazar Drive. That's where KCRA 3's Lee Anne Denyer is live right now. So LEANNE, I know you're there. WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED? Well, you can see they have a Salazar section recorded. At this point, you can see the yellow tape here and the perimeter that they've set up is actually relatively small. I WOULD CHARACTERIZE IT AS FAIRLY LIMITED INFORMATION AT THIS POINT. BUT IT APPEARS THE DEPUTIES THAT ARE HERE ON SCENE ARE FOCUSING ON THIS HOUSE WITH THE GARAGE DOOR THAT'S OPEN. I think we'll try to give you a more accurate picture of that. BACK AT HOME. But you can see there are a number of MPs gathering outside this house at this point. The last we heard from a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office was that a woman had been shot. We're told she's stable, but in critical condition. This was the last update we received from a spokesperson. We also learned that one person was arrested. BUT AGAIN, WHAT LEADED TO THIS? WHAT HAPPENED AND WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING? Still very unclear at this point, even speaking with some of the neighbors who sort of gathered here at the yellow ribbon, they didn't know anything, hadn't heard anything, hadn't seen anything. So there's a lot of questions here at this point, but we're communicating with the sheriff's office, trying to gather more details as we work to figure out what exactly happened.
