Woman dies after shooting Saturday in east Denver

A woman died Saturday night after a shooting in east Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 800 block of South Dexter Street, according to a Denver Police Department post at 5:43 p.m. on X.

Police found a victim at the scene, an adult female, who was later pronounced deceased, according to a 6:51 p.m. update from the department on X. Her identity has not yet been released.
