Woman dies after domestic violence-related stabbing near Innisfail, police charge man with murder

A 51-year-old man has been charged with murder after his common-law partner was fatally stabbed near Innisfail in far north Queensland. Police say the accused drove away from the crime scene in Mighell before colliding with a semi-trailer on the Bruce Highway and then attempting to steal another vehicle.
