Woman dies after crashing into tractor-trailer near Twin Falls

The following is a press release from the Idaho State Police.

TWIN FALLS — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash on US93 at mile marker 38, south of Twin Falls.

On June 25 at 12:41 p.m., Idaho State Police (ISP) troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on southbound US93 at mile marker 38, south of Twin Falls.

A 37-year-old Twin Falls woman was traveling southbound on US93 at mile marker 38 in a 2004 Cadillac Deville. The Cadillac crossed the center line and struck a 2017 Freightliner tractor-trailer pulling a northbound flatbed trailer. on US93. The tractor-trailer was driven by a 47-year-old man from Twin Falls. The driver of the Cadillac was seriously injured and died at the scene of the accident.

The drivers of both vehicles were not wearing seat belts.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of US93 were blocked for approximately 3 hours.

Idaho State Police were assisted by the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office, Filer Fire Department, Magic Valley Paramedics and the Idaho Department of Transportation.
