Woman dies after being found with knife wounds in Chesterfield home

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A woman is dead after police say she was found with stab wounds at a Chesterfield County home Sunday evening.

At 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the 6400 block of Kings Crest Court for a disturbance.

When police arrived, they found a woman inside a home suffering from a stab wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where police said she died from her injuries.

The woman's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
