PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are working to determine who shot three people in Center City Sunday night, leaving a woman in critical condition.

Police Capt. Anthony Ganard said Philadelphia and Jefferson officers responded to 11th and Ludlow streets, not far from the city's Fashion District, just before 11:30 p.m. on June 2, where they found two women and a man who had been shot.

The first victim, a 53-year-old woman, was shot in the knee, the 22-year-old man was shot twice in the left bicep, and a 42-year-old woman was shot once in the pelvis and once in the left. . arm. Police said all three people were taken to Jefferson Hospital; the first two victims are considered to be in stable condition, while the 42-year-old woman is considered critical.

Ganard said four 9mm shell casings and a projectile were found at the scene.

“Right now, the information we're getting from some people in the area is that there was an argument or a dispute here,” Ganard said. “However, we are receiving conflicting information about the description of the shooters.”

Police said officers will review surveillance cameras in the area as part of their investigation.
