Woman arrested, man wanted for armed robbery

Jackson police have made an arrest and issued an arrest warrant following an armed robbery last week. Police say three men robbed a victim at gunpoint Saturday at a park on Jayne Avenue. Surveillance video showed two men wearing masks get out of what is believed to be a black or dark-colored Chrysler 300. The three men stole the victim's white Chevrolet Impala and hit her 3-year-old child while committing the crime. The child was treated at a local hospital. On Thursday, police said they arrested Alexis Jones, 20, on charges of accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence. Jackson police also issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Marquix Wilson. He is wanted for aggravated assault, armed robbery and car theft.
