Woman arrested for fatally stabbing man in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (7News) — A 19-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in Northwest, D.C., in April, according to Metropolitan Police.

Police said they went to the 1300 block of Peabody Street on the evening of April 5 after reporting an unconscious person inside an apartment. When they arrived at the scene, police said they found a man, later identified as Fasil Teklemariam, 53, suffering from a stab wound.

Teklemariam was pronounced dead at the scene, they said.

On Monday, police said they found 19-year-old Audrey Miller in Hagerstown, Maryland, and charged her with first-degree murder in an armed shooting.
