On June 17, at 3:15 p.m., police were called to a residence in the 3000 block of Avalon Road to investigate a domestic dispute.

A 45-year-old Shaker Heights woman reported she was involved in an argument and physical altercation with her 27-year-old daughter, a Cleveland resident who had recently moved back in with her mother.

The police arrested the mother for domestic violence. Her daughter refused any medical treatment.

Theft: Boulevard Van Aken

On June 14 at 10:15 a.m., a 61-year-old Shaker Heights man who lives in the 16000 block of Van Aken Boulevard reported his bicycle stolen from his unsecured garage overnight.

The stolen property was valued at $500.

Theft: North Moreland Boulevard

On June 14 at 1:45 p.m., a 53-year-old Shaker Heights woman who lives in the 2000 block of North Moreland Boulevard reported her bicycle stolen from her unsecured garage.

The stolen property was valued at $250.

OVI: Boulevard Chagrin

At 4:55 a.m. on June 15, officers were dispatched to the area of ​​Chagrin Boulevard and Warrensville Center Road to investigate a single-car crash in which a Chevrolet vehicle collided with a stop sign.

The police called a doctor and smelled alcohol on the driver. The driver, a 44-year-old Cleveland man, showed signs of intoxication.

He was taken to a local hospital and cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and other traffic violations.

Arrest warrant: Boulevard Chagrin

On June 15, at 7:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota vehicle at the intersection of Chagrin Boulevard and Ludgate Road.

Officers learned that the passenger, a 24-year-old Cleveland woman, was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for a probation violation for felony assault. The woman was arrested and turned over to Cuyahoga County deputies.

At 1:15 a.m. on June 17, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Van Aken Boulevard to investigate a report of a man causing a disturbance.

It has been reported that a 39-year-old man who had been drinking, owned a knife and had a history of mental health problems had threatened to attack his 74-year-old father and 70-year-old mother.

Officers summoned medical attention for the suspect, who was then transported to a local hospital. Police charged the suspect with domestic violence.

Theft: Boulevard Van Aken

At 12:50 p.m. on June 17, officers were dispatched to the 19000 block of Van Aken Boulevard for a report of a theft.

A 56-year-old Shaker Heights woman reported that an unknown female suspect stole a delivered package that was unsecured in the common area of ​​an apartment. Officers were able to identify the suspect as a 39-year-old Cleveland woman and issued a warrant for her arrest.

Violation of a protection order: Lee Road

On June 17, at 11:25 p.m., officers observed a man wanted for violating a temporary protection order littering while near a residence he was prohibited from entering. surrender.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old resident, confirmed the warrant and took him into custody without incident.

Theft: Boulevard Chagrin

On June 18, at 11:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to Walgreens, 16400 Chagrin Blvd., to investigate a report of a shoplifter.

Officers located the suspect, a 31-year-old Cleveland man, who had stolen a bottle of soda valued at $2.50. The police summoned the man for theft.

Officers learned that a 28-year-old Cleveland woman had repeatedly punched her former boyfriend, who is the father of her children. The man, 26, of Shaker Heights, refused medical treatment.

Police arrested the woman for domestic violence.

Assault: Tuttle Road

On June 19, at 9:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Tuttle Road to investigate an assault.

A 16-year-old Shaker Heights boy reported that while walking his dog, he was followed by four unknown boys and assaulted. Nothing was reported stolen. The victim refused to receive medical treatment.
