Woman accused of stabbing woman she says played role in her sister's death

MIDDLEBURG – A woman has been accused of stabbing another woman on June 15, who she believed was responsible for her sister's death.

According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Alexis Megas Pawloski, 27, of Orange Park, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after a woman was stabbed in the chest with a pocket knife bent during a “verbal altercation” with the victim and another person.

After the stabbing, Pawloski was tracked to Suzanne Drive by the Life 360 ​​app, and other witnesses held her until CCSO deputies arrived to take her into custody.

Pawloski's bond was set at $25,003. His next court date is July 22.
