Woman accused of assault with cinder blocks and shoe identified by police

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence police have identified a suspect in an assault on Atwells Avenue that occurred Saturday morning in the parking lot of Opa Restaurant.

Ashley Soto-Morales was charged with two counts of felonious assault for the incident that occurred around 2 a.m.

The victim said he was arguing with Morales when two men began hitting him in the head.

Morales then allegedly hit the man with a cinder block and a high-heeled shoe.
