Woman, 38, charged with first-degree murder after stabbing Greensboro man

GREENSBORO — A 38-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree murder and cruelty to an animal in the stabbing death of a 59-year-old man and the death of a pet, according to the state's office. Sheriff of Guilford County.

Deputies found Todd Allen Arnold dead with multiple stab wounds to the torso and other injuries around 9:21 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 300 block of Venus Drive. Authorities also discovered a dead animal at the scene, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

On Friday, detectives arrested Leslie Ann Fullerton in connection with the crimes and booked her into the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro where she was held without bail.

Sheriff's officials have not described the nature of Fullerton's relationship with Arnold or offered a theory about a motive for the crimes.

Arnold's body will be medically investigated to determine the exact nature of his injuries, the statement said.
