Wolverine and Deadpool Score Backup Storyline for Summer – Weapon X-Traction – Comic Book Movies & Superhero Movie News

It's a great summer for Marvel Comicsfavorite enemies, Deadpool and Wolverine, and it got even bigger. Just in time for the release of their highly anticipated film, Marvel is offering a special backup story featuring Wolverine and Deadpool. This X-Traction Weapon The saga also spawned a series of variant covers, done by some of Marvel's greatest artists.

Written by Ryan North, with art by Javier Garrón, Weapon X-Traction will team up Logan and Wade Wilson on a journey across the multiverse. Reluctant allies will face bloodthirsty zombies and gun-wielding librarians. They will fight too, naturally.

“Taking Deadpool and Wolverine across the multiverse as they try to save everything – and not kill each other at the same time – has been a delight,” North noted. “Having this story appear in tons of different Marvel comics in 5-page chunks has also been a fun challenge: I like me as a formalist comic, and this is like a series of shorts that also add to a feature film. . I really think it's something special!
