Willow Springs Fire Department Installs Free Smoke Alarms in Community

Willow Springs, MO. – The Willow Springs Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross to launch a new program that provides a free smoke detector to be installed by a firefighter in local homes.

All residents of the City of Willow Springs and members of the Willow Springs Rural Fire Protection Association are eligible for the program. If you would like a Willow Springs Fire Department firefighter to install a smoke alarm in your home for free, discuss a fire escape plan and answer any questions you may have about home fire safety, contact the fire department by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] or you can call the Willow Springs City Hall at 417-469-2107 and they will forward the message to department staff. They will then contact you to schedule an installation appointment.

If you are not a member of the Willow Springs Rural Fire Protection Association and live in the coverage area, email [email protected] and they will help you become a member. Membership dues are $50 per year and prevent you from receiving a bill in the event of a fire in your home.
