Williamsburg woman arrested after stabbing at Days Inn

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A Williamsburg woman was arrested after she was stabbed early Friday morning at the Days Inn on Bypass Road, authorities said.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office said officers responded shortly after 4 a.m. after a report of a stabbing and found a 39-year-old man with two serious lacerations.

Their investigation revealed that the victim and Regina Harvey, 51, were staying at the hotel when they got into a fight which led to the stabbing.

Harvey was charged with one count of aggravated intentional wounding. She is at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
