Who Won the Primaries in Warren County's New Supervisory Districts

Warren County's five supervisor seats had primary elections Tuesday in three redrawn and two new districts.

The race for sheriff was also contested.

Warren County Sheriff: Incumbent Republican Joe Carico

Incumbent Republican Joe Carico won the party's nomination for Warren County sheriff with 54 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results. Challenger Randy Hutchinson received 46%.

There was no Democratic challenger for Warren County sheriff.

Warren County Supervisor, District 1: Arnold wins Republican nomination

Republican Brian CS Arnold won the party's nomination for Warren County Supervisor's District 1 with 63 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results. Challenger Jacob T. Zuercher received 36%.

Arnold will face Democrat Mark T. Matlage, who ran uncontested in the primary, in the November general election.
