Nash, described as a white man living with his mother, killed himself after a dramatic chase by cops. The suspect fled the scene moments after shooting around 5 p.m. local time. Nash allegedly committed suicide, as the local press stated, when he had no choice. A standoff situation led to an intense struggle between police and the suspect.

Who was Michael William Nash?

Nash, the suspect in the Rochester Hills mass shooting this weekend, resided in Shelby Township. According to a Channel report, the 42-year-old used a registered 9mm pistol in the shooting.
