OAKLAND — A man has been accused of stabbing a woman after allegedly offering her $60 for sex and trying to take it back, according to court records.

The suspect, aged 40, was charged last month with assault with a weapon. The crime occurred in April, while he was free on $30,000 bail in an earlier case involving allegations that he shot a man with a BB gun, splitting the victim's front tooth into two, according to police and court records.

The woman was stabbed in the abdomen on International Boulevard in Oakland on April 9 and required surgery, according to police. She later told authorities the suspect paid her $60 to have sex, but they got into an argument after he couldn't perform.

About two weeks earlier, the man posted $30,000 bail to secure his release from the Santa Rita Jail on charges of assault with a BB gun.
