Where to Go Berry Picking in Central Ohio This Summer

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of the many benefits of summer is access to local farm-fresh ingredients. From fresh berries and watermelon to corn and tomatoes, there are plenty of delicious dishes available at low prices.

Many area farms offer berry picking days where visitors can stop and pick their own fresh produce. A visit to these farms could be not only a delicious meal but also a great day activity for the whole family.

Doran Farmers Market

Summer strawberry picking is underway at the Doran Farmers Market. In addition to picking fresh berries, the farm also offers local South Carolina peaches, tomatoes and other goodies.

From Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m., Fermes Jacquemin offers fresh pre-picked and self-picked berries.

Legend Hills Orchard
