The Smithscript Dagger is a throwing weapon found in Ancient RingIt is Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This new weapon type allows you to throw daggers to deal ranged damage to enemies, so you should definitely add the Smithscript Dagger to your collection if you want to keep your enemies at bay.

Smithscript Dagger Statistics and Features

Smithscript Dagger has a weight of 1.5 and requires the following stats to use:

• STR – 5
• DEX-11
• INT-11
• FAI-11

The weapon is equipped with Ash of War: Piercing Throw. This Ash of War allows you to throw the dagger even further than usual with the added benefit of piercing your enemies. This makes it particularly useful against armored enemies and dragons, as it will better penetrate their defenses.

The Smithscript Dagger can be upgraded up to +25 with standard Smithing Stones.

“Dagger engraved with blacksmith’s writing. The reduced mass enhances the effects of the smithing arts, allowing this weapon to function as a throwing dagger for all attacks. Once thrown, the dagger instantly reappears in the wielder's hand.

Where to find the Smithscript dagger

You can find the Smithscript Dagger in the Tomb Plane in the Ruined Forge's Lava Intake, which can be found by warping to Grace's site in front of the castle, then heading southeast on along the lower part of the cliffs.

Once inside, follow the simple path until you eventually come across a ladder that you can take to a lever. Although this lever drops a massive column that will allow you to traverse further into the dungeon, what we are here for is nearby, in the same room as the lever.

After pulling the lever, go down and defeat the enemy here, then collect the item from the wall to receive the Smithscript Dagger. Before you leave, however, be sure to continue through the column to the end of the dungeon to collect the Anvil Hammer and an Ancient Dragonsmithing Stone.
