What a Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Wore to Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024

There's no winning formula when it comes to festival dressing, but seeing what others are wearing can definitely serve as inspiration for your next one, which is why I decided to document this that I wore during the three days of Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024.

Now, a lot of festival attire is determined by the festival you're attending. If you're going to Coachella, you should pack for the desert, often prioritizing face coverings and warm blankets for cooler nights. If you're going to Hangout, chances are you started looking for swimsuit options as soon as you received your tickets. The particularity of Primavera Sound, at least in its original Barcelona edition, is that it takes place in the middle of the city.

Held at Parc del Fòrum, you can get to Primavera Sound from the city center by taxi, bus or metro, or on foot (although it's a long walk), making it one of the most popular festivals cosmopolitans in the world. Another particularity of this festival lies in its schedules; the doors don't open until around 4 or 5 p.m. and artists continue to perform well into the morning. It is therefore not uncommon to go out ready for brunch and stay half a day in the park.

With that in mind and without further ado, here is what I wore to Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024 as Teen Vogue publisher with just a carry-on and a dream.

DAY 1

Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024 started on a Thursday and I arrived before the doors even opened, at 3 p.m., for an interview. Since it was mostly daylight for me, I dressed for the warm weather and opted for a vintage plaid men's shirt from Carhartt over a long jort in a black wash from Pull&Bear, white socks, and my Prada brogues. Since it was very hot during the day in Barcelona, I actually opened my shirt and wore my bra as a tube top, which I ended up liking more anyway because it gave a perfect fit. elsewhere masculine had a softer side, and I was surprisingly in the mood for that. (I ended up zipping up the shirt later because the festival is on the shore and it's chilly!)

Of course, I had to bring my trusty Heaven by Marc Jacobs bag, which is made of nylon and makes a great, easy-to-clean bag that you can just throw away. Although it looks small, this bag actually fits a lot of things (I'm talking deodorant, hand sanitizer, my Tamburins solid perfume, a small pouch with my lip products and my emergency medication and hair ties, two disposable cameras, and more), making it perfect for a festival day, in my opinion.
