WF Police Investigate Reported Early Morning Shooting

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A woman was taken to the hospital after reporting she was shot early Saturday.

According to Wichita Falls Police, around 3:30 a.m. on June 15, 2024, officers and first responders were called to the Stripes Convenience store on Call Field Road at Kemp Boulevard for a woman who reported being shot.


She was taken to hospital with an unknown injury.

She told police she didn't know who shot her or where it happened, but said it was somewhere between her home and the store.

Police searched the area but found no evidence. Officers on scene said the alleged incident did not occur at the store and the victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

The case will be handed over to detectives.
