Westerly man allegedly stabbed by his son

WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) — A Westerly man was allegedly stabbed by his son Sunday, police say.

Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella told 12 News the son is accused of stabbing his father.
“unprovoked” at an apartment complex near Granite Street.

Police added that it appeared to be a mental health issue. Authorities said those involved are expected to recover.
