The fire broke out shortly before 5 p.m. in a west Toledo neighborhood.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A home suffered heavy damage in a fire Sunday evening.

The fire broke out shortly before 5 p.m. on Harschel Drive, near Wrenwood Road.

Toledo Fire and Rescue Department Firefighters say the cause of the fire is unknown at this time but it does not appear suspicious.

The facade of the house suffered heavy damage. A camper van that was in the driveway was also damaged.

TFRD said no one was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured.

The home is not considered a total loss but it will not be habitable for the foreseeable future, according to TFRD.
