Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the northwest tonight. Otherwise, hot and humid conditions will persist through Father's Day and into early next week.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Lows will be in the mid 70s, with a south breeze at 10-15 mph.

FATHER'S DAY: Mostly sunny, warm and humid again. Highs will be in the mid-90s, with a heat index near 100 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy, warm and humid. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s, with a heat index in the upper 90s. Winds are from the southeast at 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.

Heat and humidity persist, as tropical humidity moves into the state. Although maximum temperatures may be slightly cooler to start the work week, we won't notice much difference. Highs in the mid-90s will return to the area late next week.
