Yair Katz, president of the Israeli Aerospace Workers' Council, revealed Saturday at an event in the town of Yehud-Monosson that Israel has a weapon that could fight Iran, Maariv reported.

“If we understand that there is an existential danger here and Iran, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and all the countries in the Middle East decide that it is time to settle against us, I understand that we have the capabilities to use apocalyptic weapons,” he said.

Katz also stressed that “the Americans, the British and the Germans help us with intelligence; they inform us of movements that can put us in danger.”

Regarding the Iranian attack, he said that “our engineers and workers prepared for this scenario for several weeks, the very Saturday we were informed that Iran had launched an attack, a large part of our workers simply fell asleep and the greatest achievement of the aerospace industry is that we all got up to a normal morning.

“I will never forget the words spoken by the CEO of the aerospace industry at 3 a.m., after we realized we had managed to escape the unprecedented Iranian attack,” he said. “I worked thirty years to see this night come, and we are happy to have saved the State of Israel,” he added.

Open threats against Israel

The statements come a day after the Islamic Republic of Iran's envoy to the UN commented on recent tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, and posted on X, formerly Twitter, that “if Israel attacks Lebanon with large-scale military aggression, a destructive war will ensue. »

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah thanked Iran for its support. “We see every day the achievements of our martyrs and what their blood accomplished,” he said. “We must understand the magnitude of the victories we have won so far and accumulated over the decades, especially since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
