Waterlogging points by division to identify

Hyderabad: As part of measures to mitigate monsoon challenges, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) Managing Director C. Sudarshan Reddy has asked officials to identify waterlogging points division-wise and undertake works to prevent sewage overflow and ensure there are warning signs and grates in deep manholes.

He also ordered officials to frequently collect drinking water samples to check for contamination and continue water kiosks installed over the summer. “Complaints related to polluted water supply should be considered a top priority,” he said.
