A 30-year-old Warren man was sentenced Tuesday to seven to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty last month to human trafficking for commercial sexual activity and several other charges for incidents in Southfield.

James Madison-Cranford received the sentence from Oakland County Circuit Judge Cheryl Matthews on charges including conducting a human trafficking enterprise, sex trafficking of a minor, accepting income from prostitution, transporting a person for the purpose of prostitution, three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. , assault by strangulation and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to the Michigan Attorney General's Office.
