Wanted in Berks: June 9, 2024

The Berks County Sheriff's Office is seeking the following fugitives:

• Zachary Webb, 44, whose last known address was in the 300 block of Pershing Boulevard in Reading, is wanted for attempted murder.

On May 1, Webb used a steak knife to stab a woman in the chest and abdomen while he was at her residence, according to Cumru Township police. Webb is also wanted for probation violations in Berks and Chester counties.

He is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 150 pounds.

• Bowin Romano, 45, whose last known address was in the 100 block of Diamond Drive, Hamburg, is wanted for retail theft.

Police said on Feb. 27, 2023, Romano was seen on surveillance video at the Muhlenberg Township Walmart exchanging price tags on items. He was arrested by a loss prevention officer and a Muhlenberg police officer at the store. Romano stole $384.27 worth of items.

He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.
