WA mum speaks out, arrest warrant issued for father of missing child

The mother of a two-year-old girl reported missing from Pullman is speaking out, as an arrest warrant has been issued for the girl's father.

Authorities believe Aaron Aung, 21, may be on the run with his fiancée, Nadia Cole, 21, a Washington State University graduate from Seattle, who has not been seen since the 29 may.

Spokane's KHQ spoke with the girl's mother Wednesday.

“When I found out she was missing, it was the worst day of my life. Every day since then has been the worst day of my life,” said Samara Harmon, the two-year-old's mother.

Investigators say Aung took his daughter and fiancée on a fishing trip to Montana. However, police say the cars associated with the two of them were left in Pullman. This led investigators to believe they were traveling in unknown vehicles.

The mother of the two-year-old girl is all the more worried as her daughter suffered from severe constipation which sent her to the emergency room.

“The doctor told Seraya and I that if she didn't get better this quickly, she could become septic, which would be fatal,” Harmon said.

Aaron Aung is described as 5'9 and weighing 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

The FBI and Moscow police are now helping Pullman police in their search.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pullman Police Department at 509-334-0802.
