Vivi's true endgame in the series is to control one of the 3 weapons which will be the key for Luffy to defeat Imu.

The three ancient weapons in One piece hold a significant amount of power. If one of them has already been revealed, the other two still remain shrouded in mystery.

Spoiler alert!

One Piece spoilers ahead

Old weapons have been classified as weapons of mass destruction. The World Government blew up Lulusia with Uranus and Pluto is said to have enough power to blow up an entire island in one fell swoop.

But what would happen if an old character from One piece can he control one of the ancient weapons to help Luffy?

Vivi might be able to control Uranus in One piece

Uranus is the ancient weapon that still needs clarification One piece. Although his powers have already been demonstrated, readers do not yet fully know him. York stole a piece of the Mother Flame and gave it to the world government who used it to power Uranus. This, in turn, led to the destruction of Lulusia.

The Uranus is most likely in the possession of Imu, who is obsessed with Lily, the queen of the Kingdom of Alabasta during the Void Century. She is the predecessor of Vivi, the current princess of Alabasta. At the same time, Imu is looking for Vivi.

So what does the all-powerful antagonist of One piece do you need Vivi? She must control something that Imu fears, otherwise she could be a force to be reckoned with. But what could a princess with no powers other than bravery possess that could alter the fate of Imu's plans? The answers might lie in his ancestry.

Imu one piece | Toei

While Lily is no longer alive, Imu clearly seems obsessed with her. Is it because she knew him from the Void Century? Or is it because he needs his powers? The queen could be the one who can control Uranus. And in her absence, Uranus needed the Mother Flame.

Vivi, for her part, is of the same lineage but is alive and in great shape. She could also control Uranus. Maybe that's why Imu is trying to find her as soon as possible. Eliminating Vivi means getting rid of a potential obstacle. Alternatively, if he takes control of her, he could use Uranus whenever he wants.

Since Shirahoshi is one of the weapons and can control the Sea Kings, another person who could control Uranus is not unreal.

Did Imu take over Lily's body in One piece?

Another theory suggests that Imu took over Lily's body and that's how he survived for so long. If it chose a different host, it may need to be changed. Human bodies are not meant to last centuries.

If he did indeed take Lily's body, he may soon need a host change, leading him to Vivi. Vivi is Lily's descendant and her body might be perfect. So maybe Imu plans to take over Vivi's body next, because he has to survive.

Imu's Devil Fruit has been debated many times. But what if it grants immortality at the cost of another's life? When Queen Lily disappeared, was it because Imu harvested her body for her gains?

All of these theories will only be proven once Eiichiro Oda clarifies the plot even more.
