Violent altercation leads to stabbing, shooting on Broadway

NEW YORK, New York – A violent confrontation occurred on Saturday, June 15 at approximately 7:25 p.m. in front of 3161 Broadway, resulting in injuries to a 38-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. According to police reports, the man was engaged in a verbal altercation with two unidentified assailants.

The argument quickly escalated when one attacker stabbed the man twice in the left side and the other shot him in the left shoulder. The ball then came out and inadvertently hit the passerby in her right hand. After the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency Medical Services responded quickly and transported both victims to Mount Sinai Morningside. They were admitted in stable condition. Authorities are actively investigating the incident and are seeking any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of the suspects.
