Vince McMahon's lawyer responds to continuation of trafficking trial at the request of the US government

The allegations made by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon have seriously damaged his reputation as a business mogul. Allegations of sex trafficking and sexual abuse have overshadowed McMahon's legacy as a central figure in the entertainment world.

In response to McMahon's recent memorandum requesting arbitration in Grant v. WWE et al. In this case, Grant's legal team issued a brief but sharp rebuttal. McMahon's motion to compel arbitration, which seeks to counter Grant's allegations of sexual abuse and coercion, drew a swift response from Grant's attorney, Ann Callis.

As previously reported, an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York has formally entered the case of Grant v. WWE, McMahon, Laurinaitis. The trial was temporarily halted pending a confidential investigation.

In a recent statement provided to Wrestlenomics by Vince McMahon's attorney Jessica Rosenberg, she expressed confidence in their defense and said Grant's allegations were false.

“We remain confident that the evidence will prove that Ms. Grant’s allegations are false and that her complaint is nothing more than a fabricated and vindictive account from a disgruntled former girlfriend.”

In another twist, WWE has joined McMahon in filing a motion to compel arbitration, but since the case is currently on hold, we'll have to wait and see what kind of findings the US government gets because things don't seem good for Vince. McMahon at the moment.
