According to reports, Kalyan police have arrested the man involved in the stunt and a case has been registered against the teenager and his father. A video capturing the incident made the rounds on social media and sparked concerns about the safety of the teen, the man in the hood and others on the road.

According to a report by NDTV, the 17-year-old boy was driving a BMW in the Shivaji Chowk area of ​​Mumbai's Kalyan on Saturday. He was accompanied by a 21-year-old man lying on the hood of the car.

The media outlet further reported that the car was registered in the name of the teenager's father, a government official.

“A case has been registered against the official for allowing his minor son to drive without a driving license,” officials were quoted as saying by NDTV.

The video, captured by locals, shows a white BMW stopping on the side of the road with a man lying on its hood. As the video progresses, the man jumps off the hood and begins walking slowly. The footage then cuts to show the car on a busy road with the man lying on the hood and visibly enjoying the ride.
